If the term "live band" didn't exist, it would have to be invented for the Broilers! For it is the countless concerts that have taken the Düsseldorf group consisting of singer/guitarist Sammy Amara, bassist Ines Maybaum, drummer Andi Brügge, guitarist Ronald Hübner and keyboardist Chris Kubczak to the top of the German-language music scene. In the summer of 2022 alone, the band thrilled more than 125,000 fans on their tour, was able to sell out the Essen stadium with 25,000 visitors as well as the Berlin Waldbühne, where a total of more than 30,000 spectators celebrated the Broilers. Of course, the artistic substance has to be right for such a huge and long-lasting success, i.e. the songs and lyrics with which the quintet has composed a soundtrack for life for its followers. Songs as strength givers, soul comforters, party fuel, the Broilers belong to the special bands that can help you in every situation of existence with the right song, which leads to a rarely intimate relationship between the five musicians and their fans. All of this manifests itself in the concerts of the Broilers, highly explosive and emotional happenings that are not infrequently unparalleled. More than a decade ago the band had their breakthrough, back then they released a first live album to give all the newly won fans an overview of their work so far. This was followed by the golden years of the Broilers, which continue to this day: three number 1 albums in a row, gold awards and sold-out tours, the Broilers are now considered one of the most important bands in the German-speaking world. And so it is now time to pay tribute to the last decade of their work with a second live album with all their musical hits and highlights. Of course, many classics and hymns from the early years of the band must not be missing.
