Conductor Suzi Digby leads the Voce Chamber choir with cellist Matthew Barley, organist James Sherlock, and narrator Simon Russell Beale in a release of works celebrating revered British composer Sir John Tavener, and featuring composer Roxanna Panufnik. Among the eight works presented here is the world premiere recording of Panufnik’s 99 Words to my Darling Children, a piece which sets the Tavener’s last message wrote to his family before his passing in 2013.
