French ensemble Nevermind—comprised of Anna Besson (flute), Louis Creac’h (violin), Robin Pharo (viola da gamba), and Jean Rondeau (harpsichord)—present Telemann's Nouveaux Quatuors parisiens on this release for Alpha Classics. Composed by the German Baroque master after experiencing Paris in the late 1730s, the quartets are lively and (as might be expected) influenced by the French style, performed with vivacity by the young Nevermind musicians.
