Pianist Felix Huber presents his ensemble FELIX HUBER COMPROject, featuring Christoph Huber on horns and Clemens Kuratle on drums. Their album Fatashui features 6 all-new originals!
"COMPROJECT (Composition/Impro/Project) is the examination of fragments or already completed but not yet published manuscripts from my previous compositional work; and at the same time their integration into my current work.
Furthermore, it is the attempt to realize sound recordings during the Corona lockdown, separated in time and place in our own studios in Aarau, Basel and Bern respectively, without losing too much spontaneity and creativity.
The fact that this, as I feel, has succeeded amazingly well with the present album, I owe to my fellow musicians Christoph and Clemens, who have enriched this music with their power of inspiration and intuitive grasp of the character of the individual pieces."
