Windmills of my Mind is the debut album from legendary soul-jazz drummer and singer. While he spent much of the 1960s defining the drumming style for hard bop alongside Quincy Jones, Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery, this 1968 album sees Tate's gorgeous baritone vocal stylings front and centre for the first time.
