Acclaimed violinist Karl Stobbe teams up with brilliant pianist Gwen Hoebig to pay tribute to composer Leclair's six violin sonatas. French composer Jean-Marie Leclair uses Italian influences in his compositions and paints beautiful musical imagery of landscapes within his melodic contours. Stobbe and Hoebig are quite sensitive to the details and nuances within these extraordinary violin compositions.
