Kit Downes showcases his improvisation skills in his album Obsidian. The etherial quality of his musicianship can be heard in songs like, "Bone Gambler," "Kings," and "Modern Gods." French composer Olivier Messiaen was a huge influence to Downes when creating this unique and thoughtful album.
