Son of the legendary blues musician Muddy Waters, Mud Morganfield combines elements from soul, R&B, blues, and jazz throughout the album. He penned 10 of the 12 tracks on this album and collaborated with some of the best contemporary Chicago blues musicians such as Billy Flynn and Melvin " Pookie Stix" Carlisle.
"I got to play bass on three songs, too, and I’m so proud to a have my youngest daughter, Lashunda, sing with me on this album. She’s a natural, too, and regularly sings gospel at home.”
