German jazz singer and composer Miriam Ast brings together an all-star trio for new album Tales & Tongues:
"For more than two years I have researched folk songs and melodies from across Europe, investigated their origins, and created my own arrangements from this material. The result is a diverse jazz album which brings together songs from countries such as Germany, the UK, Norway, Hungary, Bulgaria, and France.
To help me bring this music to life I have found two amazing musicians in the crossover cellist Jörg Brinkmann and the jazz pianist Daniel Prandl."
