Young lyric tenor Mathias Hedegaard has received lavish praise for his interpretations on this album; equal credit has to go to his pianist, Tove Lonskov. They both demonstrate an outstanding feel for the style and offer masterly renderings of the sweetness and beauty of the Danish Romantic universe.
