Inspired by the contemporary activism surrounding the #MeToo campaign, long-time activist and acclaimed songwriter Joan Baez compiled a set of personally inspiring songs for her latest album Whistle Down the Wind. In these lyrics Baez is highly critical of the political tensions in the U.S and using her signature folk voice she advocates for grassroots activism organized to counter the toxicity of American politics.
