Recorded in Minneapolis, Clevland, and Dallas Terrence Blanchard and The E-Collective pays their respects to communities affected by the tensions between African American citizens and law enforcement. Many tracks on this album are pointed commentaries on the contemporary Black Lives Matter mission with vocal samples of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speeches.
