Digital Booklet
Galina Vracheva excels worldwide as a pianist, not only with improvised cadenzas in piano concertos from the Baroque to the Modern, but also with spontaneous compositions born from audience suggestions. Her education is equally unique, beginning with piano and composition lessons in Munich, Kiev and Berlin and more than ten years of master classes in concert improvisation at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Haus Marteau in Oberbayern, Mahidol University in Bangkok and the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. Galina Vracheva has meanwhile refined the art form of improvisation, be it improvising her cadenzas in piano concertos or at the moment of orchestral entrance - without any preconception, Vracheva simply waits for what stirs her and what makes her sound. That, or she asks her audience to give her a theme, to sing a melody or to read a poem. Here, Vracheva presents improvised piano fantasies, spontaneously composed over two nights, based on the symphonies of Beethoven.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
