Another million seller from Kiss, this 1984 album features the only appearance from guitarist Mark St. John who replaced Vinnie Vincent but was forced to quit the band in less than a year due to health issues. Gene Simmons was off during the recording of Animalize working on film and television production, leaving Paul Stanley at the helm to fine tune the writing and recording. Heaven's On Fire was a moderately-successful single on the rock charts.
