Digital Booklet
Billboard 200 - #8, 1975 "... holds up surprisingly well ... B." - Entertainment Weekly "... this is mid and late 60s Stones, the greatest rock and roll band in history ... they demand to be played over and over again. B+." - Robert Christgau An album of interesting and historic outtakes, demos and rarities recorded between 1964 and 1970, the Rolling Stones’s Decca years. Some of the demos feature only Mick Jagger on vocals and were recorded with outside musicians, including Jimmy Page and Big Jim Sullivan on guitars. The original UK release had 16 tracks whereas the US version omitted the demos Somethings Just Stick In Your Mind and We’re Wastin’ Time; both songs are restored on this edition. The Stones released a couple of singles at the time, notably Jagger’s version of Out Of Time, sung over the original backing track for Chris Farlowe’s hit version. That single is included here as well as a cover of Stevie Wonder's I Don't Know Why (Don't Know Why I Love You).

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
