The Great War Symphony commemorates the centenary of the end of the First World War. Each of its four movements is themed around one year of the war, with lyrical settings from Wilfred Owen’s 1914, Seigfried Sassoon’s Hell Let Loose, Margaret Postgate Cole’s The Falling Leaves.
This beautiful work features soprano Louise Alder and tenor Joshua Ellicott alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.
