The last Rolling Stones album to be released with a different track listing in America and Britain, this UK version is what the band intended, the original running order complete with the songs Back Street Girl and Please Go Home that were deleted from the American version to make room for Let’s Spend The Night Together and Ruby Tuesday. Something Happened To Me Yesterday features Brian Jones on sax and trombone, while regular Stones keyboard players Jack Nitzsche and Ian Stewart are joined by pianist Nicky Hopkins who plays on several tracks, the start of his lengthy spell as a sideman.
