Drawing attention from the world’s biggest tastemakers within the ambient- genre, William French has already been highlighted by the Youtube-giant Mr. Suicide Sheep and Indie Shuffle for his vast, cinematic sound. Combining elements of ambient chilout with minimalistic, melodic deep house, William has released official remixes via Atlantic Records and Toothfairy – adding his signature to the works of Atlantic Records’ Coucheron, Warner Music’s Carl Louis and and Sony Music’s Frøder. Spending the past months working on a new project, William is finally ready to reveal his new EP Velvet Dream. The lead single, “Light,” sets the stage for a melodic and minimal electronic journey. It is a melodic deep house track wrapped in an epic atmosphere. Minimal percussion, bouncy synths and euphoric pads makes “Light” the perfect deep house track for the weekend.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
