Following her ATMA Classique debut as composer of Albertine en cinq temps ─ l’opéra (released in November 2022), Catherine Major begins her first collaboration with the new neoclassical label, alisma, with La mémoire du corps. Consisting of original compositions for piano, some of which are arranged for strings, English horn and voices, Catherine Major abandons the texts that usually nourish her songs to offer an entirely instrumental album, revealing a new facet of her musical sensibility.
