"... all of their 60s studio albums are musts. Couldn't even tell you where to start."
- Robert Christgau

"...The evolution of a rock & roll band from superlative interpreters of mostly borrowed R&B in a style that was never far from pop, to being pop artists, philosophers and social commentators ..."
- Rolling Stone

Hot Rocks, a showcase of the Rolling Stones's work between 1964 and 1971, is rightly considered one of the best Stones compilations ever released. It's certainly one of the most popular, having sold over 6 million copies in the US alone, making it the Rolling Stones's most successful album. Jammed with hits and album tracks that turned the band into international megastars, Hot Rocks spent four-and-a-half years on the US charts.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
