This album of works by Mohammed Fairouz titled Follow, Poet includes the elegiac song cycle Audenesque sung by mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey as well as the ballet Sadat. Clips of a 1963 speech by John F. Kennedy intersperse the musical pieces which both feature the New York City chamber orchestra Ensemble LPR conducted by Evan Rogister. With this release, Fairouz becomes the youngest composer to have an entire album recorded for Deutsche Grammophon in the label’s 115 year history.
