The inimitable Graham Parker continues a busy year with a 40th anniversary release of a fully solo acoustic version of his seminal album Squeezing Out Sparks. The original LP is still listed as one of Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" and Graham will be playing selections from the new acoustic version on his 2019 tour dates.
This release follows 2018's Cloud Symbols, Graham's latest studio album. With his Rumour packed away he enlisted a new gang, The Goldtops, for this record. The album also features the first studio appearance of The Rumour Brass for many decades.
