Cory Weeds is a saxophonist with an expressive sound rooted in Jazz tradition, a label owner tirelessly documenting unsung Jazz heroes, one of Canada’s most important Jazz impresarios, the hardestonworking man in Jazz business – Cory Weeds is all of these things, and much more.
Live At Frankie’s Jazz Club is his fifteenth release as a bandleader. It features the man himself on alto saxophone, Terell Stafford on trumpet, Harold Mabern on piano, Michael Glynn on bass and Julian MacDonough on drums.
