"The Voyager hangs together as a loose yet polished California-pop travelogue of Lewis’ endlessly messy life ... Lewis’ slippery, expressive voice and sunny SoCal tunes make The Voyager a rewarding journey."
- The Rolling Stone

"Jenny Lewis' third solo album is defined and motivated by a sense of personal nostalgia, as these songs sift through Lewis’ past to find some key to her present. It’s not anchored in one particular scene, but plays as broadly California, with sly nods to the Byrds in the guitars, the Go-Go’s in the vocals, and Randy Newman in the wry humor."
- Pitchfork

The Voyager is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis. The album was released July 2014, and was primarily produced by Ryan Adams at his studio, PAX AM.

"Making The Voyager got me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. After Rilo Kiley broke up and a few really intense personal things happened, I completely melted down. It nearly destroyed me. I had such severe insomnia that, at one point, I didn’t sleep for five straight nights. Many of the songs on The Voyager came out of the need to occupy my mind in the moments when I just couldn't shut down."

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
