Digital Booklet
Uk Albums Chart - #1, 1965 French SNEP Album Charts - #44, 1965 The Rolling Stones' second UK album release, featuring the 1965 studio sessions at Chess studios with Ron Malo in Chicago, as well as sessions at the RCA studio in Hollywood with engineer Dave Hassniger. No. 2 does not feature any British singles releases, which was unusual in 1965, instead featuring Off The Hook, the B-side of the UK No.1 Little Red Rooster, and What A Shame which was the B-side of US hit Heart of Stone. Both B-sides, along with Grown up Wrong are Jagger / Richards compositions. No. 2 also features Ian Stewart playing a brilliant boogie woogie piano on Down the Road Apiece with Jack Nitzsche playing piano during the Chess Studio sessions.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
