Two of Stravinsky’s important ballet scores are brought together on this fine sounding live album, released by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under chief conductor Mariss Jansons in 2008. The album is drawn from performances of Le sacre du printemps recorded live in 2006 and the 1910 version of L’Oiseau de feu, recorded in December 2007.
