Alois Maxwell "Al" Hirt was an American trumpeter and bandleader. His nicknames included "Jumbo" and "The Round Mound of Sound." Hirt was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in November 2009.

This is Al Hirt's third volume of Swingin' Dixie! at Dan's Pier 600 in New Orleans, and features the original 1958 high-fidelity stereo mix.
