Dutch pianist Joop Celis presents the fourth volume of his series on the piano music of British performer and composer York Bowen. Bringing together several suites, a polonaise, a sonatina, and other works large and small, this release shows the variety inherent in York's compositions for the piano, with works from both the pre-war era and the 1950s, all performed with sumptuousness virtuosity.
