Grammy-nominated group the ARC Ensemble acts as cultural ambassadors in their quest to perform music outside the normal Western musical canon. This album marks the beginning of their new chamber series of composers who were forced to leave Europe in the 1930s. This album highlights the compositional output of the German-born Jewish composer Paul Ben-Haim who fleed to Palestine in 1933.
