UK Albums Chart - #10, 1974 "... confirms the greatness of The Who ... gives the listener a fascinating glimpse of one of our best bands, caught in the process of forging a style ..." - Rolling Stone "... Townshend's genius glimmers through on every one of these leftovers ..." - Robert Christgau The original Odds & Sods compilation, released in 1974, was assembled by John Entwistle in an attempt to clear the decks of all the songs The Who had recorded yet never released. Over the years many of these songs had been played live and were well known to fans. This reissue contains an additional 10 tracks Entwistle unearthed but didn't have room to include on the original vinyl release. "I tried to arrange it like a parallel sort of Who career: what singles we might have released and what album tracks we might have released. It could have been a double album, there was that much material." - John Entwistle

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
