Piano duet ZOFO celebrates Terry Riley's 80th birthday with this 2015 collection of original compositions, arrangements and a special commission by the pianists, Eva-Maria Zimmermann and Keisuke Nakagoshi. It's quite evident that the composer and performers were personally engaged: from the very beginning, Riley worked in collaboration with the two pianists. The Praying Mantis Rag, composed for ZOFO, actively illustrates the duet's vibrant character.
