"It’s been five quiet years since the Chili Peppers’ last album, the double-disc Stadium Arcadium ... I’m With You pulls them back from the abyss, bravado intact ... New guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who’s worked with Beck and Gnarls Barkley, is well suited for giving old tricks new shape. He’s textured and elusive, layering riffs and melodies where Frusciante burned solos ... The peak moments on I’m With You balance swagger and sensitivity ... It’s the apocalypse as beach blowout, the meltdown as brodown. Strip down to your tube socks and party, dudes – you’ve earned it."
- Rolling Stone
I'm with You is the tenth studio album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. Produced by Rick Rubin, I'm with You was the band's first studio album since 2006's Stadium Arcadium, and its first to feature guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, following the departure of John Frusciante in 2009. It is also the final collaboration between Red Hot Chili Peppers and producer Rubin, whose relationship began with their fifth studio album Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991).
