"Neil Young has been car-obsessed forever. His current passion is the LincVolt, a ’59 Lincoln that, with some engineering help, he’s pimped into an electric hybrid. Fork in the Road is about the LincVolt. It’s also about American myth, governmental betrayal and how rust still never sleeps." - Rolling Stone Fork in the Road is the 29th studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young, released April 7, 2009, on Reprise Records. The album was inspired by Young's Lincoln Continental that had been retooled to run entirely on alternative energy, and Young's background with the Lincvolt project he has been working on alongside mechanic Jonathan Goodwin. Young's vocal performance on Fork in the Road was nominated for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards, 2010.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
