"Kurzak has a technique which dazzles just as vividly as her engaging stage presence ... from its initial spin, this disc left me in a blissful state of uncritical delight ... Kurzak draws great drama and meaning from the texts ... simply outstanding."
- International Record Review
For her second album Bel Raggio, Polish-born soprano Aleksandra Kurzak performs bel canto classics of Rossini, accompanied by the Sinfonia Varsovia and Pier Giorgio Morandi. This programme contains highlights from several of the pieces which remain at the heart of Kurzak's stage repertoire.
