When We Were Gentle from Danish rock singer and guitarist Kira Skov was awarded Album of the Year in 2013 by the Danish Critics association, which also named her Vocalist of the Year. Skov is well known in Denmark for her work with her band Kira & The Kindred Spirits and her collaborations over the years; this is the ninth album of her career.
