Over the centuries a great deal of music has been written for this time of year, but very little has been added to the canon in recent decades. Gordon Getty inspired this collection of delightful new Christmas carols from a group of American composers; these are rich and tuneful recordings of festive and joyous holiday classics delivered by soloists, the Musicians of the New Century Chamber Orchestra and the Volti Chorus.
