Digital Booklet
New release from classical superstar sisters, Camille and Julie Berthollet. The sisters appear often in various duo combinations (violin / cello, two violins, cello / viola, violin / viola). They have won prizes in duo including the First Prize with Special Mention in the Schweizerischer Jugendmusikwettbewerb competition (SJMW) in 2011, 2013 and 2015. They have also qualified together for the finals of the Tournoi International de Musique Competition – the youngest duo ever selected. Camille shot to fame in France and abroad in 2014, at the age of 15, when she was hailed winner in the first edition of the young talent competition Prodiges (Prodigies), produced by Shine France, televised on France 2 and watched by 4.5 million viewers. “We are so excited and thrilled to finally reveal this project, which we have been imagining and developing for months... Nos 4 saisons, our four seasons! We heard The Four Seasons for the first time before we even knew how to talk, and the sound of the violin is one of our first memories. It's as if we always knew we would return to this repertoire one day, that we would happily dive back into our childhood. Vivaldi has laid the foundations of all modern music with his work, and if you listen well, you find his harmonies in all of today’s pop music. With this album, we built our own bridge between classical music that made us grow and the song that has soothed us for a long time. It was obvious for us to record these four seasons together, as sisters, with our common vision of the work.” – Camille & Julie Berthollet

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
