Norwegian saxophonist, flautist, and composer Frøydis Grorud releases her new full-length album, End of a Beautiful Story. The quartet album features Hermund Nygård on drums, Torjus Vierli on keys, and Magne Thormodsæter on upright bass, and is released on the Norwegian label, Jazzland Recordings.
Jazzland Recordings was founded in 1996 by Bugge Wesseltoft with the primary aim of releasing his album "New Conception Of Jazz". Since then the label has grown, with a catalogue of over 150 albums by the likes of Eivind Aarset, Beady Belle, Sidsel Endresen, Dhafer Youssef, Håkon Kornstad,, Live Maria Roggen, Atomic, Maria Kannegaard, Rohey and Henrik Schwarz.
