Digital Booklet
Tree of Life is the debut album from pianist Kory Caudill after working with others, notably with country artist Justin Moore. Classically trained, Caudill’s influences range widely from Chopin to Ricky Skaggs and from Bruce Hornsby to Yanni, as evidenced on Tree of Life, which displays Caudill’s diverse background as the album travels through many musical eras over its 11 tracks. Like many songwriters, Caudill draws inspiration from ordinary things around him: the idea for the title song came from something as simple as a quilt made by his grandmother. "The beauty of instrumental music is that it allows for personal interpretations and is not bound to specific memories or events that are portrayed by the artist. For me, this song is about family and the people who have given selflessly to make the world a great place for my generation. The song title comes from a beautiful quilt my grandmother designed. On the quilt is a tree with a limb representing each family member." - Kory Caudill

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
