Paris-based world-renowned contemporary chamber group Ensemble Intercontemporain and its artistic director, composer-conductor Matthias Pintscher, launch a series of recordings with this album dedicated to Bartòk and Ligeti. The series aims to alternate 20th century landmarks with new works, providing an opportunity to showcase the talent of the award-winning ensemble's musicians performing some of the major masterpieces of the last century and to discover scores by composers of the 21st century.
