Canadian Albums Chart - #10, 2015 "There is a carefree feeling about this album and in many ways it is the album I wish I'd been able to make 25 years ago." - Bryan Adams "Don’t call it a comeback. Call it a throwback. In a good way ... a consistent slate of undeniably hooky fare ... the sound of a veteran craftsman doing what he does best and enjoying himself in the process. Adams still leaves you wanting more. In a good way." - Toronto Sun Get Up, the first new material from Bryan Adams in seven years, is a solid collection of well crafted songs ranging from fast and furious uptempo rockers to gentler numbers, produced by Jeff Lynne and co-written with Adams' longtime partner Jim Vallance. Alongside the nine new tracks, Adams has included acoustic versions of four of these songs which he produced himself, revealing another layer of the tunes and highlighting Adams' unique voice and depth. "It came together quite organically, song by song, working with Jeff producing over the past couple of years whenever he had time. It was a great partnership as it gave me plenty of time to write the songs, most of which are a collaboration with Jim Vallance. We all worked primarily over the internet from Canada, Europe and LA, sending demos and parts of songs until we got it right." - Bryan Adams "I've always been a big fan of Bryan so getting to work with him was a great pleasure. Bryan would send me a demo across the internet, then I would play most of the instruments to make a finished backing track and send it back to him in England. There he would put the lead vocal on to the song and send it back to me in California, 5,400 miles apart! And it's turned out to be a rockin' album!" - Jeff Lynne

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
