Midnight Skyracer is Leanne Thorose on mandolin, Charlotte Carrivick on guitar, Laura Carrivick on fiddle and reso-guitar, Eleanor Wilkie on bass, and Tabitha Benedict on banjo. The quintet hails from across the British Isles and their signature style has won them fans throughout Europe and in the US Bluegrass scene.
Providing glistening harmonies, their sound is a scintillating mix of hard-driven Bluegrass and mountain balladry, both edgy and infectious, tender and tough. The band bring their gritty girl power sound to the Bluegrass scene, whilst still paying homage to the traditions of the deep southern American music. With Shadows On The Moon, they have created a 13-track opus for bluegrass lovers worldwide.
