Chamber Philharmonic Witolda Lutosławski in Łomża was founded in 1977 as the Łomża Chamber Orchestra. During the 40-year period of its existence, she gave almost two thousand concerts in the country and abroad. She also received many awards for her activity and contribution to the development of musical culture, including "Podlasie Brand of the Year 2018" and "Lomza Business Angel 2019".
This album is a wonderful showcase of the band's over forty years of activity. In turn, the album's program shows the repertoire versatility of the chamber orchestra (from baroque to contemporary music). So we are dealing with a kaleidoscope of various composer styles, which allows us to appreciate the band's versatile capabilities.
