Savoy Brown went into the studio to record a new album for release on Quarto Valley Records in September. The new release coincides with the band’s formation by Kim Simmonds in the winter of 1965. The album, titled Ain’t Done Yet, marks the band’s 55th anniversary. Ain’t Done Yet is a continuation of the path Savoy Brown has laid down with their two most recent releases, “Witchy Feelin'” and “City Night”. Simmonds states, “It’s the same me, same band, same studio, same production but a brand new collection of songs that I’ve written over the past year.” With more than 40 studio albums recorded during it’s existence, Savoy Brown remains as one of the longest running blues rock bands still making new music today. It’s a band as valid now as in the fabled past of the 1960s.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
