Five years after the release of her previous album, Donne moi quelque chose qui ne finit pas, Stéphanie Lapointe returns with Les amours parallèles, a third album that demonstrates the musical maturity of this multidisciplinary artist. Music direction was provided by by Joseph Marchand and Émilie Laforest (duo Forêt); recorded and mixed by Pierre Girard and arranged by Mélik-Alexandre Faraht, Guido Del Fabbro and Mélanie Bélair. The album was inspired by French songs from the 50s-60s and features lyrics penned by Philippe B, Stéphane Lafleur, Leif Vollebekk, Jimmy Hunt and Philemon Cimon.
