Jazzing 10 Vol. 1 was dedicated to the music of Clifford Brown, with special arrangements for the occasion, of songs that were either originals by Clifford himself or songs that he used to perform.
Vol. 2 is also a sample of the different recordings that Joan Chamorro made during 2019, both with the entire Sant Andreu Jazz Band, or in smaller formats, and in two different spaces such as the JAZZ HOUSE (home of the young orchestra) and the JAMBOREE, a regular venue during all these years, where they have also played and recorded on many occasions.
Sant Andreu Jazz Band is a project arising from a music class. Conducted by Joan Chamorro, the big band brings together children between 6 and 18 years old, around a classic jazz repertoire with lots of swing, which gained the public and sold-out some of the most important music auditoriums in Spain.
