Gerhard Polt and the Well brothers (formerly Biermösl Blosn) have been stepping onto the stages of Bavaria and the world together for exactly 40 years. A fitting time to celebrate the extraordinary friendship between the great humorist and the subversive brothers trio with an anniversary album.
The unique compilation contains pieces from the current live program as well as some real classics, tried and tested since 1980 in countless theaters, opera houses, cabarets, multi-purpose halls and beer tents. The thrust is known as well as proven: Gerhard Polt tells the monstrous at the highest satirical level, the brothers sing about politics and homeland and make music for the devil.
Also included on the album for three tracks: Die Toten Hosen, which of course cannot be missing here.Since the mid-eighties, the people of Düsseldorf have been closely associated with Polt and the Well brothers, with whom they have worked again and again, in the studio as well as on special joint stage projects. A wonderful mixture beyond all musical and dialectal boundaries.
