Janina Ruh has been a sought-after cellist at home and abroad at the latest since the 2013 German Music Competition Prize and the nomination for "SWR2 New Talent" in 2014. She also previously attracted attention with various prizes and awards, such as the International XIV Tchaikovsky Competition, the International Paulo Cello Competition in Helsinki, the Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition and the PACEM IN TERRIS International Music Competition Bayreuth.
