The show is based on the best-selling 1979 novel of the same title by Tom Wolfe and stars Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman, Colin O’Donoghue, Eloise Mumford, James Lafferty, Nora Zehetner, Eric Laden, Patrick Fischler, Aaron Staton, Michael Trotter, Micah Stock, Shannon Lucio and Josh Cooke. The drama focuses on the early days of the U.S. Space Program and tells the true story of America’s first astronauts, the Mercury Seven.
