Joe Wong releases his debut album Nite Creatures, a collection of ten baroque, ruminative and gently psychedelic songs. As a musician and composer for the past two decades, Joe Wong has received praise from The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Drowned In Sound, and NY Times. Nite Creatures is his first solo outing, showcasing his vocals as a developing artist.
For Nite Creatures, Joe gathered some of his eminent friends to create a ’60s psych-pop’ feel with his own twist. Guest appearances including, Jon Natchez (War on Drugs), Craig Wedren (Shudder to Think), Anna Waronker (that dog.), Steven Drozd (Flaming Lips) and a 16-member string section, featuring members of the LA Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra.
